Charles University’s Albertov Campus project was developed through cooperation between three of the University’s scientific faculties – Faculty of Science, First Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics. The project’s vision was to enhance, a hundred years after it came into existence, the historic Albertov neighbourhood in Prague with two education centres with an overlap to research connected to teaching. The goal of the project is to improve the interaction between individual disciplines and exploit the potential of such a realisation to bring the whole complex to life as a meeting-place for people and ideas.
