Drilling of the piles that will form the structural foundation of the entire building is continuing at the Biocentrum construction site in the Albertov Campus.
Pile drilling is progressing steadily at the Biocentrum site. These deep concrete columns will provide stability for the entire structure. Almost 150 piles have been drilled so far, and work is ongoing in other areas of the construction pit. Piles are an essential component of the foundation of such a large building because they transfer its weight to the strongest layers of the subsoil. This phase is therefore crucial for preparing the site for the construction of the Biocentrum building's above-ground sections.
